I don't know about you, but the number of activities and events I want to do with my kids grows each year along with my FOMO! Since when did Halloween start in August and mean a full calendar of events and store aisles full of things to buy?
Just as with the Christmas holiday season, I try to focus on just a few meaningful outings and traditions so I don't get overwhelmed, my kids have fond memories instead of dreading this time of year and we don't go broke.
So what is on your bucket list? What activities will your kids most enjoy? Which will make great photo opps? Fall photos are the best so this IS something to keep in mind! Just don't over do it or you will only have forced smiles!
What can you do for free or little money? What activities would be fun to do as a group, with grandparents etc?
Here are some ideas and of course, some great books to go with it!

Nestling up next to a fire with a good book after a day of looking at leaves or picking pumpkins sounds like a bit of all right to me! Wishing you and your family a fall full of fun and memories that bond you together!
